KAKEGURUI TWIN SEASON 1 ENDING EXPLAINED
To the Kakegurui Twin season 1 finale, Tsuzura is still a Mitten. The prequel and ‘Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler’ are not finished yet. So we have no official confirmation as to whether Maria helps Tsuzura get rid of Mitten’s condition from him. As things stand in the manga, Tsuzura is still a Mitten. Tsuzura, along with other prequel characters, has yet to appear in the original series, and we know little about what happened to him.
It is possible that Maria’s change in personality is due to Tsuzura’s fate. In the original manga, we see Maria with a hairpin in the shape of a flower. She is revealed to have originally belonged to Tsuzura. Maria is often seen clutching this hairpin. Given Mary’s immense hatred of Kirari in the original manga, it’s safe to assume that the student council president had something to do with Tsuzura’s absence.
KAKEGURUI TWIN POST-GENERIC SCENE EXPLANATION
In the post-credits scene of Kakegurui Twin season 1 finale, we see Aoi and Sachiko talking. Sachiko asks if Aoi will give up on Maria now that she has rejected her. Aoi rejects the idea, saying that he is obsessed with Maria. He says that he needs Mary to join Full-Bloom, no matter what she wants. For everything you need to know about the release of the second season, he reads this.
And if she doesn’t, Aoi declares that she will crush her. This perfectly sets up a possible second season. Like Tsuzura, Aoi and Sachiko are also absent in “Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler”. Although we still don’t know what happened to them, the fact that Kirari and Mary are still in the academy and they are not, makes it clear that they lost the bet.
