About One Punch Man Manga
Mighty monsters and villagers have wreaked havoc in the cities of Earth’s supercontinent. The millionaire Agoni then establishes the Hero Association, which recruits heroes to fight evil. Saitama, an erratic hero, arrives in City Z and performs his own heroic deeds. He has trained himself so well that he can defeat any opponent with a single punch, but his unrivaled power has rendered him overwhelmingly boring. Saitama eventually becomes a reclusive mentor to Genos, a cyborg out for vengeance on a cyborg who murdered his family and destroyed his hometown. However, because of his low written entry score, Saitama is placed low, and the public is still unaware of his achievements. The hero association includes Saitama and Genos.
The Hero Association summons all of the world’s greatest heroes to a meeting, informing them that the Shibabawa seer had a vision of the world before dying. Immediately following the meeting, an alien named Boros invades the planet. The heroes are fighting the invaders outside the boat, while Saitama takes the boat on board and fights Boros, keeping the battle interesting. There is still debate over whether Boros was what the seer saw, or whether an even greater threat arose. Saitama encounters other heroes such as Bang, the Martial Artist, the Blizzard, and King, the Earth’s hero. The number of monsters is also increasing. Garo, Bang’s former trainee and self-proclaimed “Hero Hunter,” is also increasingly in danger, as he fights and defies heroes in order to strengthen himself and become a “monster.”
Monster influx has been revealed to be the Monster Association, a monster organization out to destroy the Hero. They attack several cities, kidnap an executive’s child, and recruit fighters via “monster cells,” which cause people to transform into extraordinarily skilled monsters. Garo identifies with a child who idolizes heroes, seeks out heroes to battle, and greatly improves his fighting skills as a result of all of them. The Monster Association attempts to kidnap Garo’s child after he refuses to be recruited. Garo enters the City Z Monster Association’s headquarters but is apprehended. The child must be rescued. The Hero Association breaches the Headquarters in order to rescue the leaders’ children, resulting in a chaotic battle that destroys City Z. The majority of the Monster Association’s leaders were killed, but many of the heroes were overly trusting. Garo defeats the remaining heroes after gaining immense power, before Saitama surrenders and defeats him. Despite the objections of the other heroes, Saitama saves Garo’s life and allows him to flee to unknown parts.
Following the fight, the Hero Association’s poor performance causes a drop in public opinion. Several heroes and authorities decide to leave or defect from the Neo Heroes, a growing rival group that appears to be more effective in dealing with the growing monster threats due to its larger membership and the leadership of the Blue hero, who claims to be the son of a long-time blast. Saitama is in the process of forming the “Hero Name Victim’s Association” after learning of corruption within the Hero Association, and he seeks justice for himself and other heroes who have been wronged.
