Satelight will air a new Japanese anime series called Sakugan. Junichi Wada directed and wrote the script, while Yji Iwahara designed the character designs and Tatsuya Kato composed the soundtrack. An adaptation of Nekotaro Inui’s book Sakugan Labyrinth Marker, which was submitted to the 2018 partnership between DeNA, Sotsu, and Bunka Housou that solicited story submissions from the general public, was made for Project Anima by Nekotaro Inui. Yoshimasa Hosoya provides the voice for Merooro, who is affectionately referred to as Meroro. Rinda is the shortened form of Linda, and she is portrayed by Minami Tsuda. Both Rufus (sometimes referred to as Rufasu) and Boss (often referred to as Bosu) are voiced by the same actor, Hikaru Midorikawa. Misaki Watada is the voice of Muro.

Humanity hasn’t been at peace in a very long time. After so many years, they’ve overcome numerous challenges, and people soon begin to suffer and rally around one another when things are bad. Eventually the Colony was split in two by bedrock, and now a wide region threatens humans, hunters, and adventurers who live on the other side. Things that happen at night are rumored to be hazardous and mysterious in this location. It’s called “The Labyrinth” since it’s so dangerous and undeveloped.
In order to explore that part of the Labyrinth and leave a mark on undeveloped areas, hunters, adventurers, and humans risk their lives. These people are known as “Markers.” Some of them had made a solemn promise to explore the dungeon to the point of death. Memempu, a young woman who aspired to be a Marker, achieved her goal. Gagumber used to be a Marker before he retired. There is a father-daughter relationship between the two, but Memepu wants her father to help her become a Marker, so the two form a ragtag group and go exploring the Labyrinth.
