In October 2010, zombies took over AMC when the network aired the first episode of The Walking Dead. Adapted from an eponymous comic book series by Robert Kirkman, the series follows a small group of humans fighting for their survival in a terrifying post-apocalyptic world. Twelve years later, The Walking Dead is about to bow out at the end of an eleventh season eagerly awaited by fans. Two stars of the series are however preparing to interpret their characters again in a spin-off, DeadCity. First baptized Isle of the Deadthis original production will depict the journey of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) through the island of Manhattan, separated from the mainland.
We needed very good arguments to convince Morgan to pile back into the universe of The Walking Dead. In interview with EWthe star explained for her agreement to star in the spin-off: “ The story was so good, and so worth telling, that I couldn’t say no. It invigorated me and I wanted to continue “. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, however, confides that the idea would never have crossed his mind some time ago: ” If you had told me a year ago that I would do this, I would have replied: ” No way. I will finish [la série] and go away”. DeadCity is slated to hit AMC next year.

After The Walking Dead, Jeffrey Dean Morgan is delighted to join a completely different universe. The actor indeed revealed recently that he would be in the cast of season 4 of The Boys. On Twitter, Morgan had fun embedding himself on a poster of the series broadcast by Amazon Prime Video. If we don’t yet know the name of his character, we do know that he will be a ” recurring guest “. The prestigious guest was also officially welcomed by showrunner Eric Kripke (supernatural) and the actors of the series with a photo where we see them holding up a middle finger: ” Welcome to the family, JD Morgan. We are so CRAZY to have you with us!! “. It is rumored that season 4 of The Boys could be broadcast on Prime Video from next summer…
