A synopsis
On a voyage to find the titular treasure and proclaim himself King of the Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy sets out from the East Blue Sea. While searching for One Piece, Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates set out on an expedition to form their own crew.
As a collective, the Straw Hat Pirates set sail for the high seas in search of riches. They acquired a ship and sailed out to sea to take on the local piracy fleet. Various characters join Luffy’s journey later in the series. The Straw Hat Pirates acquire a new ship, the Thousand Sunny, when the Going Merry is no longer repairable. The crew of the buccaneer ship is on the high seas in pursuit of riches and thrills.
